Survey Drafting Technologists – Calgary Branch Office
We have immediate openings for Survey Drafting Technologists in our Calgary Branch Office. These are permanent, fulltime positions for the right candidates, who will have good technical training and a strong aptitude for CAD drafting, survey computations, and the preparation of cadastral plans. Only applicants with survey drafting experience will be considered for these positions.
Qualifications:
- oil and gas survey drafting experience
- municipal survey drafting experience
- technical school diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or Drafting Technology, or equivalent work experience
- strong computer skills
- experience with AutoCAD and MicroSurvey
- experience with Civil 3D preferred
- experience performing survey computations and data compilation
- experience producing topographic and site plans, wellsite plans, right-of-way plans, construction drawings, and subdivision plans
- field experience with cadastral surveys preferred
Duties:
- report to Drafting Manager
- perform survey calculations
- perform calculations and drafting for oil & gas projects
- prepare oil and gas and municipal survey plans, including legal plans and plans for wellsites, pipeline construction, access roads, and site surveys
